Journal Citation Reports®(JCR®) offers a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the world's leading journals, with quantifiable, statistical information based on citation data. By compiling articles' cited references, JCR helps to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationship between citing and cited journals. JCR database can be accessed within the framework of TÁMOP 4.2.5 application won by Educatio Public Services Non-profit LLC, by institutes applying for it.

Journal Citation Reports®(JCR®) offers a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the world's leading journals, with quantifiable, statistical information based on citation data. By compiling articles' cited references, JCR helps to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationship between citing and cited journals.

The recognized authority for evaluating journals, JCR presents quantitative data that supports a systematic, objective review of the world’s leading journals. Using a combination of impact and influence metrics, andmillions of cited and citing journal data points that comprise the complete journal citation network of Web of Science, JCR provides the context to understand a journal’s true place in the world of scholarly literature.

JCR database includes:

  • In-depth journal coverage: Covers more than 10,100 journals from over 2,600 publishers in approximately 238 disciplines from 84 countries.
  • Two editions: The Sciences Edition covers over 8,000 journals; the Social Sciences Edition covers over 2,650.
  • Cited and citing journal statistics from 1997 forward.

With Journal Citation Reports you can:

  • Sort journal data by clearly defined fields: Impact Factor, Immediacy Index, Total Cites, Total Articles, Cited Half-Life, or Journal Title.
  • Sort subject category data by clearly defined fields: Total Cites, Median Impact Factor, Aggregate Impact Factor, Aggregate Immediacy Index, Aggregated Cited Half-Life, Number of Journals in Category, Number of Articles in Category.
  • Better understanda journal’s impact over time with the Five-Year Impact Factor and trend graph.
  • Seamlessly link with other interfaces: Full integration with Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge lets you link from Web of Science to JCR Web, from JCR journal records to ulrichsweb.com and recent Current Contents Connect tables of contents, and to and from your library’s OPAC

The world’s core collection of engineering, electronics, and computer science periodicals, ASPP includes 148 IEEE Society-sponsored journals, transactions and magazines.
